The sunshine is back!!! I don’t know about you but I’m SO ready for a holiday somewhere dreamy, which has inspired my recent blog post…
which I captured on the stunning island of Zakynthos in Greece’s magical Ionian Sea. It was my first time on the island for my gorgeous friends wedding (which was amazing and beach side obvs!!). I was blown away by the crystal blue sea, white sandy beaches, sea turtles and the stunning light!!
One of the best memories (apart from their wedding of course) has to be the boat trips and swimming in the stunning crystal clear waters… not only that, the boat trips take you to the unspoiled treasures of the island. The perfect way to explore the island which is full of natures secrets.
I can’t wait to explore the Greek islands further in the near future. What’s your favourite Greek Island? I’m also heading to Girona in Spain for a beautiful wedding at Mas Torroella. If you’re heading nearby mid April 2022 don’t forget to get in touch and we can see what we can fit in during my trip.
I first met Sophie and Mike in Greece where we captured their impromptu couple shoot. We had fun exploring the little side streets before ending on the beautiful white sandy beach during golden hour. The evening ended in the best way with a delicious Greek meal. I’m so excited to capture their gorgeous summer wedding next year at the contemporary countryside wedding venue Manor Hill House it’s going to be beautiful and these two are a treat to photograph so watch this space!
“Omg Chrissy they’re beautiful! You truly are talented, you made us feel so comfortable and even though Mike was nervous (but didn’t really have a choice doing it lol) you made him feel at ease and not at all awkward. Can’t wait to share them with friends and family! Thanks once again. Sophie x x x x x”
Enjoy the sand between your toes and take those shoes off
Embrace your surroundings, don’t be afraid to get your toes wet
Trust your photographer!
Light coloured clothes compliment the pastel shades of your surroundings
Head beach side during Golden Hour the magic time for photos
Bring a towel, if it’s warm enough get wet for the last 10 minutes of the shoot, you won’t regret those EPIC photos!
Most of all… Have FUN!
If you’re looking for a Greece Wedding Photographer then I’d love to chat with you and send over my brochure so you can learn more about my approach. I will also be in the UK, France, Spain and Italy in the coming 12 months so do get in touch.
Fancy seeing what a beach session looks like in Wales? Check out the romantic UK beach engagement shoot of Jenny and Josh it might not be a beach on a Greek Island but you won’t be disappointed, don’t forget there are stunning secret spots everywhere so no matter where your engagement shoot is we’ll find the perfect location!
With love,
