I’m so excited to share with you the stunning outdoor Provence wedding of my stunning Danish couple Emilie and Mads that took place just 10 days ago on May 18th 2019 in the stunning Provencal countryside. Provence is one of my favourite locations in France, the landscape is unbeatable and there is an amazing array of locations to choose from!
Not only were we in a fabulous location at Villa Cavalerie, Emilie and Mads along with their families were so welcoming, friendly and fun which shines through in their images!
Emilie and Mads, I’m so excited to share with you your gorgeous sneak peek of your outdoor Provence wedding, I can’t wait for you to see your full gallery guys! Until then love birds enjoy this preview and I hope you had a fantastic honeymoon!!
Emilie and Mads celebrated their love with a 3 day celebration at the beautiful Villa Cavalerie with their guests who flew in from around the globe to witness their intimate outdoor nuptials. With it’s stunning surroundings, sumptuous interiors and the perfect pool to sit by with a cocktail or two, it was a breathtaking spot to say I Do.
I loved their beautifully illustrated wedding stationery created by Beija Flor Studio which perfectly represented their outdoor Provence wedding.
On entering bridal preparations Em greeted me with a warm welcome and that’s just how I’d describe her, warm with a smile that brightens up the room. All day Emilie looked like she was on cloud 9 and I don’t doubt she was. It was a pleasure to capture the happiness of the entire day!
Oh this moment, pure joy right there…
These moments where Em’s mum and maid of honour Nulla are helping her into her dress are some of my favourite from the day, they perfectly describe that utterly excited feeling just before the ceremony…
Emilie looked stunning in her backless JS Cotoure London wedding gown which she paired with suede Jimmy Choos!
While the girls finished off upstairs, outside it was bustling with excited guests who where greeted by Mads and his groomsmen and beautiful live music that filled the entire courtyard…
This was a Disney moment for sure, Em and her Dad had the sweetest relationship which was a blessing to witness and capture because these moments are what its all about. Their relationship had me thinking about my own little girl who will be making an appearance this summer and how she will be with my husband, her daddy, one day on her wedding day. Em and her Dad hugged, giggled, reminisced and shared glances throughout the day, it was a beautiful relationship to witness. I wish this for every little girl!
After a morning full of giggles and pampering it was time to head outdoors under the beautifully decorated tree for their intimate outdoor ceremony.
I think these smiles say it all…
It was then time for a champagne reception in the sunshine served with mouth watering canapes by Eveil des Papilles.
One of my favourite parts of the day is when the bride and groom get to sneak off for a few minutes just after their ceremony to enjoy a few moments together. We made the most of their traditional Provencal villa by finding a few quiet spots for their romantic portraits.
Another of my favourites….
Emilie and her girls looked stunning in their KF Bridal dresses with pretty rose and eucalyptus bouquets created by Bucolique By Marina.
As the rain started to fall we headed to their poolside marquee for their delicious wedding breakfast full of Danish traditions. Throughout their dinner Em and Mads along with all their guests were entertained with numerous speeches, sing-alongs, hilarious Spice Girls hen party footage and tequila shots, as you can image this lead to lots of laughter!
Em kicked things off with her heartfelt speech which didn’t leave a dry eye in the room!
A marquee full of happy smiling faces, what could be better!
Before we knew it the sun was setting on what had been an incredible day and it was now time to celebrate with cake… you might recognise our two chefs…
As the evening continued we headed inside to E&M’s live band The Sabres for a night full of dancing and partying… what a way to end a magical day!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dal and thank you so much for trusting me to capture your most precious memories. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together and I hope you enjoyed a fabulous honeymoon full of even more amazing memories!
With love,
Christina x
