Well it’s that time of year in the wedding photography world where everything starts heating up (I wish the weather would buck it’s ideas up too!). As we are now officially in Spring (YAY!!) it’s finally time for all those sweet Spring engagement shoots and what better location than the beach!?

I’m in love with this romantic UK beach engagement shoot of Jenny and Josh, my lovely bride and groom from last year and I can’t wait to share it with you today…

Jenny and Josh live in North Wales (somewhere I used to live in my teens too) so it was only right that we found a picture perfect location close to home and what better backdrop for their e-shoot than Talacre beach! Not only were we spoilt with a secluded beach and rolling sand dunes, we were also blessed with gorgeous golden hour sunshine. That magical light at the end of the day that makes for perfect photographs.

We had so much fun together exploring the dunes while chatting about their up and coming Willington Hall wedding.

It may not have been quite the weather for summer dresses and bare feet but this swoon worthy Talacre beach engagement shoot stole my heart. It was such an honour to capture these special moments for these childhood sweethearts!

Spring time really is one of the nicest times for your engagement session. As you start to plan for your engagement shoot, one of the first things to consider is your location. I LOVE it when my couples pick a location that is special to them in some way but if you can’t think of anywhere specific that you would like, I can help you decide on a location just as I did with Jenny and Josh.

This time before your wedding is so special and what better way to celebrate than with an engagement shoot! I encourage my couples to add an engagement session to their Wedding Experience because I truly believe that it’s a VITAL part of the entire process.
