Oh do I have a beauty to share with you today: a Bordeaux wedding at Chateau de Mazelières! Think French summer sun, never ending rolling vineyards, bucket loads of love and a few happy tears! There really is nothing better than meeting such sweet people and sharing in their day, so come join us…

The destination chateau wedding of teachers Hannah and Simon (who planned their wedding all the way from Dubai) was held in the picturesque Gascony countryside at Chateau de Mazelières on July 26th 2018. The area is so picturesque and the weather rarely disappoints so it really is the perfect spot for an outdoor summer wedding!

The whole day was filled with love, emotion, fun and laughter. This gorgeous pair have a passion for life that’s clear to see and the way Simon looks at Hannah with so much love is a blessing to witness.

Hannah looked stunning in her Sophia Tolli wedding gown and bespoke cape which she wore with a pair of Valentino Rock Stud heels (wedding shoe heaven right ladies!).

HUGE Congratulations guys! OK I can’t keep these to myself any longer…

Wedding shoe envy…

Their emotion filled ceremony, which they held under the large sycamore tree within the chateau grounds, was so unique and perfectly represented the love and families that these two now share. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and I feel blessed to have been there with the best seat in the house…

Simon’s dad worked so hard creating all the wooden games and signs for the wedding and it all looked fantastic and came all the way from the UK!!

Just before the sun disappeared below the horizon we managed to enjoy the beautiful golden hour for some epic couple portraits! It’s always worth slipping away for 20 minutes for the best light of the day…

This has to be one of my favourites of S&H, just look at the way they look at each other, thanks for making my job not feel like work guys!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Greenhalgh and thank you so much for trusting me to capture your most precious memories. I wish you a life time of happiness together and I’m so pleased you enjoyed your fabulous honeymoon full of even more amazing memories!
