Midweek blues? No problem, I’ve got the perfect remedy…
Back in June I was giddy at just the thought of visiting Ladurée in Cannes. It was on my places to visit and had been for a while and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I’d even made a Pinterest board for it, you can check it out here.
Luckily for me as I don’t have the best sense of direction my hubby with his hand held google maps got us to our destination! I could have stayed in Ladurée for hours taking pictures of their perfectly formed delights. For those of you who don’t know, Ladurée is a French luxury bakery and sweets maker who make the best macarons en France (well in my humble opinion!!) and not only that, their boutiques have to be the prettiest in the world!!
I had to share a little sneak peak with you…
Totally mesmerised by the contents of the boutique and with their amazing assortment of flavours, including Marie Antoinette Tea macarons, choosing was a rather difficult task. Salted Caramel tempted us most and off we went delighted at the fact we’d finally been inside.
I would have loved to have left with boxes and boxes of delectable macarons wrapped in pretty ribbons and placed in gorgeous bags, just imagine playing shop in here?! Oh what fun!
Next stop… Ladurée Paris!
With love
