Love My Dress – Wedding Planning Inspiration

Love My Dress® is an online world of wedding planning inspiration that embraces glamour and elegance and encourages sophistication and style, whilst remaining true to the love story behind every wedding. We aim to connect our readers with the very best suppliers, and publish content that offers a gentle and daily reminder of love and the true value of weddings and marriage – Explains Annabel Beeforth, Founder of Love My Dress.

I first fell in love with Love My Dress when planning my own wedding back in 2013 so you can imagine how thrilled I was when my own wedding was featured on the blog that same year (you can read the full feature here). I was even more excited when I joined the team back in 2014 as a feature writer.

Writing for Love My Dress was a challenge for me as I certainly wouldn’t refer to myself as a writer but it was a fantastic opportunity to learn something new and get involved in the blogosphere. Plus who wouldn’t want to look through beautiful images, read loving words of wisdom and write beautifully presented features to inspire brides to be all over the world. I know what it’s like in the run up to a wedding and how much I appreciated and found inspiration and comfort in the Love My Dress Blog!

Hannah and Ben - Love My Dress - English Rose

One of my Love My Dress favorites has to be the gorgeous wedding of Hannah and Ben with stunning photography by the extremely talented Dominique Bader Photography. Its so quintessentially English you’ll love it I’m certain! Read the full feature here >> ‘An English Rose and Her Pink, Gold and Pastel Colour, Country House Wedding’

Each feature is truly unique and with most of the weddings on Love My Dress taking place in England we do get whisked away occasionally to wonderful destinations. The wedding of Evelyn and Giuseppe took place in Germany and transported us back to the golden age of glamour for the most elegant of 1920’s inspired affairs. If you are a fan of Love My Dress you’ll know at the end of each feature we share the brides ‘Words of Wedded Wisdom’, it’s such a fantastic way to end the features and the advice is priceless. I loved reading this section of the feature the most because each bride has something of great value to share.

The wedding of Chris and Emma held at the amazing Asylum Chapel in Peckham is slowly becoming one of my favorite venues, it’s utterly unique and full of charm. I must admit I do have a little soft spot for French weddings. France has a very special place in my heart after living there for eight years and getting married in the Vendee in 2013. With its beautiful architecture, stunning countryside and not forgetting of course the wonderful climate, it’s no surprise France is a very popular wedding destination. I was thrilled to write about Hannah and Dan’s big day in the Dordogne region.

I’ll finish with the beautiful wedding of Scott and Emma which was my first feature of 2015. Their wedding included some fantastic vintage touches, including a unique vintage travelling temperance bar to fit with the couple’s Great Gatsby, 1920’s, prohibition era inspired day. It was such a fantastic experience and I loved working with such a wonderful, creative and inspiring team! I hope one day to have my own work featured on the pages of Love My Dress until then you won’t keep me away from reading the beautiful features they share!

Are you a fan of Love My Dress? Then you are going to LOVE their newly launched Little Book for Brides sister site that will make your planning a breeze!

I hope you enjoy reading through some of the wonderful real weddings!

With Love

P.S. I recently prepared a couple of wanderlust features for the lovely French Wedding Style blog. It was wonderful to take pictures and write about the area where I married my lovely husband and where we purchased our first home together. You can read the full feature here. I’m even more excited to share that I will be joining the French Wedding Style team this November!!

I love to read your comments...
